There is a huge MBUX Hyperscreen that runs across the entire dashboard, two 11.6-inch displays in the back, plus a standard Burmester® 4D Surround Sound System. Everything on the inside is wrapped in vegetable-tanned Exclusive Nappa Leather, with natural woods or special Piano Lacquer Black Flowing Lines creating a very elegant effect. All seats - both front and rear - offer ventilation, massage function, and neck and shoulder heating. The new Maybach EQS SUV will be priced from about $200,000.

Cadillac's new Lyrig electric SUV may not benefit from the same level of luxury as the Celestiq, but it is still one of the best luxury electric SUVs out there. It is built on GM's Ultium platform, and it is offered in two configurations: one with one single motor, rear-wheel drive configuration with an output of 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, and another one powered by a dual-motor setup with combined 500 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. A 100-kWh battery pack provides a range of up to 308 miles, and the Lyrig can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds. The SUV's exterior was specially designed to improve its aerodynamics, and one of the coolest features is a total of 736 lighting patterns that light up when the driver approaches with the key in his hand. The cabin is one of the most stylish and luxurious you will see in an SUV. Everything is wrapped in high-quality materials, the front seats offer heated, cooled and massaging functions, and a massive 33-inch curved LED screen provides all the necessary information. The best part is that the Lyriq is an affordable luxury SUV with prices starting from only $58,590.

3 Volvo EX90: Setting A New Benchmark For Safety

Volvo's new EX90 will be put on sale in 2024 as the company's first bespoke electric vehicle. Customers will be able to choose between two trims: Twin Motor and Twin Motor Performance. Both are powered by two permanent magnet electric motors that deliver 408 horsepower in the first model, and 517 horsepower and 671 pound-feet of torque in the second one. The motors will take their juice from a 111-kWh battery that provides up to 300 miles of range, and while this may not sound like a lot, the EX90 only needs 30 minutes to be recharged to 80 percent. Volvo says it will be its safest model ever and will also benefit from the first interior radar system that will help you make sure nothing was forgotten in the car. In the cabin, a portrait-style 14.5-inch infotainment display comes as standard, while a second 8.0-inch screen serves as the gauge cluster. Everything inside is wrapped in a new material called Nordico created from recycled materials such as PET bottles, FSC-certified wood panels, and tailored wool. When it goes on sale, prices for the Volvo EX90 will start from under $80,000.

4 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV: A Big Electric S-Class

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV may not offer the same level of luxury as the new Maybach EQS SUV, but it should still be one of your first choices when looking for a luxury electric SUV. It comes in three trims: EQS 450+, EQS 450 4Matic, and the top-of-the-line EQS 580 4Matic which delivers a combined 536 horsepower and 633 pound-feet of torque. A 108.4 kWh battery pack provides a range of up to 305 miles and can be recharged back to 80 percent in just 40 minutes. The top version can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and benefits from an off-road mode that will allow you to take it on some sort of off-road driving. Be careful though, as the ground clearance is only 5.3 inches. The exterior design is typical for a Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle, while the cabin combines luxury with high-tech features in the nicest way. A 56-inch screen MBUX Hyperscreen comes as standard, but so are premium leathers, wood, and metal finishes. When opting for the two-row seats EQS, you will benefit better interior space than you find in any other luxury SUV, while cargo space can go up to 74.2 cubic feet. The EQS SUV is priced from $104,400.

It is built on the same GM Ultium platform and, in the most powerful trim, delivers a total of 830 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet of torque - making it one of the most powerful luxury electric SUVs out there. Despite being a large, heavy SUV - weighing around 9,000 pounds – the Hummer EV SUV needs only 3.5 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph. It also offers a range of up to 300 miles, and it is the perfect SUV to take off-roading thanks to its four-wheel steering and crab walk feature. In the cabin, everything was designed with perfect attention to detail - for example, the speakers of the Bose 14-speaker audio system have the map of the Sea of Tranquility from the surface of the moon engraved on the covers. The SUV comes as standard with a 12.3-inch diagonal driver information center display and a large, 13.4-inch diagonal infotainment screen, while the Infiniti Roof with the modular sky panels will allow customers to enjoy an open-air experience. The GMC Hummer EV SUV is priced from $86,645.

As a standard feature, the SUV combines a 12.3-inch information display with a 14.9-inch central infotainment system that provides all the necessary information. The cabin is trimmed in high-end, sustainable materials, while an optional Luxury Package adds a distinctive center console with a walnut finish, plus backlit buttons, and controller. There is also a panoramic glass roof, plus a hexagonal steering wheel that gives a very sporty feeling. The BMW iX M60 is priced at $111,500.

In time for the 2023 model year, Audi replaced the not-so-successful e-tron SUV with the new Q8 e-tron. American customers will get to choose between the Q8 55 and the SQ8 e-tron, while in Europe, Audi will offer a base Q8 50 E-Tron trim. The Q8 55 E-tron is powered by two electric motors that deliver a combined 402 horsepower and 490 pound-feet of torque, while the SQ8 e-tron will get a tri-motor setup with a total of 496 horsepower and 718 pound-feet of torque. When compared to the model it replaces, the Q8 e-tron delivers 30 to 40 percent more range, taking the numbers up to a total of 373 miles. The Q8 E-tron features a design inspired by the Q4 e-tron, with sleeker taillights, a more functional rear diffuser, and in general, a more aerodynamic look. The cabin is also defined by the luxury you would expect from an Audi model. There are three different screens: the Audi's digital gauge cluster, and the infotainment system that includes a 10.1-inch display on top and an 8.6-inch unit below it. Everything is wrapped in high-quality leather with contrasting red stitching, while the front seats are offered with a massage function. The Q8 e-tron is priced from $74,400.

The Model X offers up to seven seats, and one of the coolest features is the optional yoke steering wheel. The SUV is offered with a 17-inch infotainment display that controls everything about the car, plus an additional 8-inch screen located in the back of the car that will entertain the rear passengers. As standard features, the Model X also offer tri-zone temperature controls, ventilated front seats, HEPA filtration, and a 22-speaker, 960-watt audio system. Prices for the Model X go up to $107,490, when you opt for the Plaid trim.

10 Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV: The First All-Electric AMG Crossover

The new Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV was unveiled at the end of 2022 as AMG's first-ever all-electric crossover model. The SUV will be offered in two trims: AMG EQE 43 and AMG EQE 53, but only the latter will be offered on the North American market starting with the 2024 model year. The EQE 53 packs a dual-motor setup that delivers a combined 677 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. It runs from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and has a range of a little under 300 miles. As no surprise, the EQE AMG's exterior design is typical to the AMG electric models, while the cabin is a combination of luxury and sporty features. As standard, the EQE AMG SUV offers a huge MBUX Hyperscreen made from three screens, plus AMG-style seats covered in ARTICO man-made leather with contrasting red stitching. The same material is used for the instrument panel and the beltlines, while the door center panels are wrapped in black Microcut leather, and the AMG Performance steering wheel is wrapped in Nappa leather. There are no details on the prices yet, but you should expect to pay at least $100,000 for the EQE AMG SUV.
