2022 marks the 60th anniversary of the iconic James Bond franchise and a special feat like this calls for a special celebration. Doing exactly that, the makers of the movie have scheduled an exceptional auction with 25 movie items, including the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE ridden by Bond in No Time To Die.} The auction will start in just under a month’s time and all proceeds will go to charity. To jog your memory, this is the same motorcycle featured in the popular wall jump scene where James Bond (Daniel Craig) climbs an almost perpendicular wall after commandeering the motorcycle from an assassin (played by Dali Benssalah).

In addition to this scene, Lee Morrison, stunt Coordinator of the movie, says the team put the motorcycle to full use by jumping it, riding flat out on stairs, tackling rough terrain, and doing everything else in between, all of which was a breeze for the scrambler.}
The motorcycle has a bit of customization, though, and boasts a free-flow, slash-cut custom exhaust along with a tall front mudguard, a prominent bash plate, and knobby tires. Meanwhile, the 89 horsepower 1200cc engine, Brembo brakes, Showa front forks, and Ohlins rear shocks are all stock.
As impressive as all this is, Bond’s Triumph is a strict collector’s item. It has no government registration and the free-flow exhaust should further make it “illegal” for public roads. What makes matters worse is the fact that the listing doesn’t specify the condition of the motorcycle and you will have to get in touch with the seller to find that out. So, in short, even if you get it, there’s a slight chance you might not get to feel like Bond and take it for a spin.
What’s The Price?
Buying a new 2022 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE sets you back by $15,845. But thanks to this one’s special history, the motorcycle is expected to sell for somewhere between GBP 20,000 ($23,000) and GBP 30,000 ($35,000). While it doesn’t seem like a good financial decision (considering you can’t ride it on the road), this is surely a great collector’s item even if you haven’t seen the movie.
