Ever since its debut in 2018, we’ve seen several custom builds based on Royal Enfield’s first two-cylinder offering, the Interceptor 650. Most of them have been scramblers or trackers, though, and only a handful of shops have had the guts to transform an Interceptor into a cruiser, let alone a bobber. India-based Bulleteer Customs is a proud member of this talented club and this time, it has whipped up an Interceptor 650 bobber that’ll make American cruiser fans lust for it.

The final product is nothing like the stock Interceptor--a feat only few custom shops have achieved so far

Dubbed "Wolverine" by its makers, the custom Interceptor has barely any resemblance to the Interceptor 650, and a lot of the credit goes to its overhauled underpinnings. Up top, you now get widened forks that house a 150-section tire while the opposite end has a custom swingarm featuring an even beefier 240-section wheel. Both wheels couple up with custom fenders as well. Concurrently, the subframe and rear shock absorbers have made way for a monoshock conversion to help achieve the bobber-like hanging seat.

Speaking of the seat, the Wolverine’s ergonomics are way different from the stock INT650 too. The forks wear a set of low clip-on handlebars which, coupled with the low-slung leather saddle and custom fuel tank, create an aggressive riding triangle. Once aboard, you’ll also notice that the INT’s dual-dial instrument cluster has moved to the left, under the fuel tank.

The 648cc, twin-cylinder engine remains mostly unchanged as there aren’t many internal upgrades for the Wolverine. However, the notable detail here is the svelte free-flow exhaust created in-house by Bulleteer. One of the exhaust pipes flows from around the engine and comes out the opposite side, which is unlike anything we’ve seen on a custom Interceptor yet. The performance output, though, should still be in the same ballpark as the Interceptor's stock 47 horsepower.

Finally, for the finishing touches, the now-cruiser motorcycle flaunts a gloss black finish accentuated by golden pinstripes. The tan brown handgrips and rope-wrapped exhaust also add much-needed contrast to the overall blacked-out appeal. All this is brought together by a quad-projector headlight and round LED indicators.
