Rimac Automobili unveiled its first model - the Concept One - back in 2013 at a time when electric cars were still in their infancy. Many have happened since then, for both the world of electric cars and Rimac, and 2021 saw the official launch of the Nevera - currently the most powerful electric car in the world. Unlike the Concept One that was built in only eight units, the Nevera will be limited to 150 units, but don't get your hopes too high as the model is priced at over $2 million, so only the wealthiest will get the chance to drive one. You can, however, hear all about it from people like Jay Leno who had the luck to review the supercar in the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage.

According to him, you will be able to drive the car for years, and it will still look contemporary. Next to Leno, there is Bugatti-Rimac's test and development engineer, Miroslav Zrncevic, who was involved in the development of the supercar right from the beginning. The Nevera is powered by a quad-motor setup that delivers a total of 1,914 horsepower and 1,741 pound-feet of torque. All these figures hold true while also promising to offer a range of 342 miles (WLTP figures). One of the coolest features of the supercar is its advanced traction control - a special feature that calculates how much torque every wheel needs at any given moment. This feature will help the less experienced drivers to keep the car under control. And it really needs to be kept under control as the Nevera is fast: it goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.95 seconds and can hit a top speed of 256 mph.
